The screen goes dark and the crest of House Turner appears for a moment before fading out.
You now see a young woman standing in front of the camera with the House Turner Royal Palace behind her.
"Greetings citizens of the galaxy. My name is Kate Williams. I am House Turner’s official public correspondent and personal aide to Archduke James Turner. I come before you now to expose a terrorist attack orchestrated by none other than Black Sun."
She pauses for a moment before continuing with her startling announcement.
"Recently Archduchess Mia Turner, wife of Archduke James Turner was kidnapped for no apparent reason by someone she thought was a friend, none other than Haemon Vecchio. This friend turned out to be an operative for Black Sun's notorious Black Watch division. The operative had been instructed from the Black Sun family council to carry out this blatant act of terrorism towards House Turner. His orders had come directly from Vigo Nalah Jou. The ultimate goal of the failed kidnapping is still a mystery. Whether Black Sun wanted to hold her for ransom or use her as leverage in an attempt to gain access to someone else in House Turner is still not known."
"House Turner's intelligence divison, Torchwood, in conjunction with assistance from former TSL employee Deimos Falkenberg and Dac Kain, a personal friend of the Archduchess, successfully extracted her from the clutches of the Black Sun operative before he had a chance to complete his mission. Unfortunately Haemon Vecchio eluded capture and managed to escape. He is now at large and a warrant for his capture has been issued by Turner Securities Limited. He is armed and considered extremely dangerous."
"We will now present a statement from the office of Archduke James Turner before going live to the Grand Duke. The Archduke had recently recorded this statement about the failed kidnapping of his wife."
The holo cuts to James and Mia Turner, seated in the archduke's office.
"Thank you, Katie. Greetings, I am Archduke James Turner, founder of House Turner. The recent kidnapping of my wife, Mia Turner, came to me as a great shock, the worse week of my life. Thankfully Torchwood and friends of House Turner and my wife was able to spring into action fast enough to save my wife's life."
James paused for a moment, clearing his voice.
"All I have left to say as a member of House Turner and the Knight-General of the Order of Hudriel is this - if they want a war, we’ll give them a war."
The image shifts again, this time displaying a tall, dark haired man standing at a podium.
"Greetings gentle beings of the galaxy. For those of you who do not know me, I am Grand Duke Michael Turner, Patriarch of the Noble House Turner. The recent failed kidnapping attempt of my sister in law has come as a complete shock to my family. It was clearly an attempt by the criminal organisation as retribution for Turner Securities Limited’s successful capture of their former operative, Avre Atanna several months back. I make no apologies for bringing criminals to justice. This recent attack will not deter us, Black Sun is considered a hostile criminal sect of the galaxy and House Turner will do everything in its power to oppose them. We will not bow down to terrorists or tolerate attacks on our family."
The Grand Duke pauses for a moment before continuing with his statement.
"I was recently accused by the New Republic of being one of these so called Shadow Vigos of Black Sun. While it is true that my former business associate Owen von Ismay turned out to be an agent of Black Sun, I am most certainly not. I refute the allegations that the New Republic has condemned me and sullied my good name with. I have been the victim of a witch hunt driven by the fear and paranoia of Black Sun that has been seeded into the New Republic, if anything it was purely guilt by association due to my relationship with Owen. I have moved on since they made me into an outcast, but I really do wonder how they got it so wrong."
As the Grand Duke finishes his statement, the screen slowly fades out as it goes blank.
