Yesterday, on Year 11 Day 212, an act of war was committed against the Aurodium Legion by so-called 'defenders of the peace', the Jedi Order. As part of its ongoing war with the remnants of the Federation of 'Free' Alliances , the Legion sought to close out its bloody war with the beleaguered former-sovereign by restoring the planet Adval in the Fwiis system to the Aurodium residents inhabiting two-thirds of the planet's population centers. In a desperate ploy to retain control, the Federation reached out to anyone with an illegally modified hyperdrive to save them from their self-inflicted fate. Answering the call was an unlikely pair - Keibak Aruu, a Jedi Knight of the Jedi Order and owner of The Flying Rancor, and Vee Null, notorious criminal mastermind and owner of Nike's Victory - arrived a mere 28 hours after the resistance flared on Adval. Upon further investigation, both were able to arrive in an unplausible timeframe and evade Legion aerial patrols in the region by utilizing their dangerously modified hypermatter reactors, banned several years ago due to serious questions surrounding the safety of nearby travelers. Aruu and Null quickly went to work to suppress the local population, with Aruu arresting unarmed Legion builders to waylay their efforts while Vee Null sought to spoil the uninhabited terrain in case the uprising was successful.

Koornacht citizens, shocked by The Jedi Order's aggression, demanded that the Galactic Alliance intervene on the Legion's behalf. Citing the Jedi Order's supposed position as 'keepers of the peace' and the Aurodium Legion's political neutrality in the Galactic Civil War, the Farlaxians urged the Alliance to stay the Order's. Legate of the Aurorium Legion, Dorn Zeke, reportedly confronted the Jedi cabal. His claim that the Jedi's actions were a declaration of war against a neutral government were rebuffed by claims that detaining unarmed builders was itself a 'peacekeeping' effort initiated by the Jedi, on behalf of its fellow Jedi Knight Valat Horn. Unmentioned by the Council was the fact that the wanted criminal Vee Null was destroying the rest of the planet while the Jedi 'maintained the peace'. Valat Horn, one who claims to uphold the Jedi way, has been the butt of criticism in the Legion-Federation conflict after substantiated rumors that Horn was arresting and executing unarmed civilians in The Periphery surfaced in recent weeks. Although the Order has tried to ignore Horn's transgressions against their way, some argue that the Order will have no choice but to denounce their decision to support Horn in Fwiis, and Horn himself for his decision to proceed to the path of the dark side.

av-57.png When sought for comment, Legate Zeke told reporters: "Our dispute with the Federation, initiated by them, has been ongoing for many months. The Jedi were asked to cease their aggressive actions and acts of war against our cause, but we were rebuffed by Council Member Kara DuMonte, who insisted that an act of war is only perpetrated when an innocent is killed, rather than wrongfully held. We insisted it would be viewed as an act of war against us if they continued, and that they remove themselves from the conflict peacefully, but were again rebuffed as the Jedi grasped at strays to help their fellow "Jedi Knight." It boggles the mind how a [Galactic] Alliance member could act this way, paving the way for a known criminal to sully the planet, clearly choosing sides in a war they had no part of, and supporting an organization with known ties to the criminal organizations and the Imperial Union."

Requests for comment from the Order were met with vague promises by the rest of the Jedi Council to look into the matter swiftly, presumably long after Null's attempt to destroy the rest of the once treasured planet. Council Member DuMonte refused comment, indicating that discussion on the matter was over. When asked about the Legion's claim that The Jedi Order had declared war on them, DuMonte simply reiterated her position that if you call a rose by another name, it ceases to be a rose. Despite the Jedi intervention, the Legionnaires reportedly overwhelmed the Jedi Knight, preventing the total destruction of the planet at the hands of the Federation.
