The Blue Star Dominion is a sovereign state located in the Southeastern Outer Rim, where it governs the Sevetta sector and the Dagu star system. Though its administrative seat lies in this region, the Dominion extends its influence through both overt and covert operations across the galaxy. Its name honors the two luminous blue stars found in the Dagu and Woldona systems - symbols of its regional roots and enduring presence in galactic affairs.

The Dominion traces its lineage to a complex legacy of influence and upheaval, beginning with the infamous Black Sun crime syndicate prior to Year 15. During a violent internal power struggle led by Alexander von Ismay, the Dael'mor Mandalorian clan relinquished control of the syndicate and splintered off to form the Gree Trade Authority (Years 15–18). This group would later evolve into the Sevetta Conglomerate (Years 19–20), laying the foundation for what would become the Blue Star Dominion in Year 22.

Branded enemies of both Black Sun - now under Ismay's control - and its patron, the Galactic Empire, the breakaway group found itself in open opposition to Imperial interests. When an Imperial fleet threatened their home system, the Dominion and its predecessors aligned with the Galactic Alliance, New Republic, and Rebel Alliance, becoming steadfast supporters in the fight against Imperial tyranny. In the wake of the New Republic's collapse, the Dominion became a founding member of the Unity Protocol - a regional coalition united in their resistance to the Imperial regime. As the Rebel Alliance rose from the ashes, Blue Star quickly emerged as a key member of the newly-formed movement.

Formally established in Year 22 by Cedron Tryonel, Taranjeek O`Cuinn, and Tomas O`Cuinn, the Dominion inherited the mantle of its predecessors while forging a bold path of sovereignty and defiance. Despite repeated assaults by both the Galactic Empire and the Zann Consortium, each eager to see it fall, the Dominion has endured - proving time and again that it is not so easily broken.
